Writing as the fable forager Qwigley Mo, I always dreamt of being an author when I grew up. Only I never did. Grow up that was—well, not in my imagination, at least. Only, snippets of plots, unusual characters and dark fragments from my World Beyond the Onion Skin spent, oh so many years, loitering on the corners of beer mats, scribbled on the underside of cereal packets—and occasionally, on paper of the toilet kind—before making their way into a comprehensive collection of words I lovingly titled, The Magical Memoirs of Makebolivia.    

 

When I'm not dealing with the mishaps of Makebolivia, or working on an effective strategy towards literary domination, I operate as a UX Designer, illustrator and mad doodler (not to mention, I'm a bit of a wizard on a sewing machine). I'm also also a member of SCBWI and former member of The Golden Egg Academy.

 

I also spend my time with my husband and two young sons in a sleepy Lancashire town, famous for its roundabouts. The reminder of my time is spent scribbling the contents of my mind on anything closest to hand, which is normally a bulging forearm or a fleshy left thigh.

 

My imagination is my best friend. I never want to stop honouring it.
